Merissa (Tank/Builder)
Merissa has an octagonal ring surrounding her, this ring is her weapon, armor and shield, if the ring is destroyed she will die, Merissa wears a helmet and gloves to control the octagonal ring.
Merissa looks thin but her hitbox is as big as any tank, the hitbox is visible when is hitted by an enemy.
Armor: 100 (ring itself)
Shield: 100 (shield projected by ring)
Weapon: Octagonal Ring (80 rounds per clip, 2 seconds reload)
Beam (Primary fire projectile)
The Octagonal Ring generates a wide laser beam, it can generate 2 beams per second, travel time is similar to Orisa Fusion Driver, this is maybe the widest bullet on the game it pushes the enemies in its track and make a low damage. The beam is intended to clean a way, not to kill enemies.
Beams do not disappear when they hit an enemy, they continues their way pushing more enemies.
Reload the beam takes 2 seconds.
Octabeam (Secondary fire projectile)
The Octagonal Ring generates 8 beams to 8 directions separated by 45 degrees each one, this skill consumes 8 rounds, so it can be used 10 times before reloading.
The best moment to use this skill is when there are many enemies close to Merissa because the chance of hit an enemy is higher.
Vital Armor (E)
The Octagonal Ring consumes the health of marisa to recover her armor, every health point gives her 2 armor points, it recovers 30 shield (or consumes 15 health) per second.
Vital Armor stops or can not be used if one of the followings conditions occurs:
- Merissa have 1 health remaining.
- Armor is full (100)
Vital Armor is a way to double her life in some cases, for example if Merissa has:
Health 50/200 | Armor 0/100 | Shield 0/100 (Total Life: 50)
And Vital Armor is used for 6.3 seconds, the result will be:
Health 1/200 | Armor 98/100 | Shield 0/100 (Total Life: 99)
Containment Panel (Shift)
Merissa can build a shield panel to stop attacks from enemies called Containment Panel.
She can build 3 panels, If a fourth panel is built the first one will disappear (just like Symmetra Sentry Turrets).
A Containment Panel has 2 parts, the shield (the blue panel) and the base (the metal part at the bottom).
The shield works as usual, it regenerates at a rate of 20 per second after 3 seconds of taking no damage, if shield is 0 any attack will pass through it.
The base has the health, if this part has 0 points the Containment Panel is destroyed.
If 3 panels are built in a row, 150 damage is needed to go through them.
The best place to build a Containment Panel is on a high surface to avoid enemies to hit the base.
Omnibeam (Q)
The Octagonal Ring emplaces vertically and rotates around Merissa while she floats, it shoots 80 beams in 4 seconds. As every beam they will push the enemies cleaning a wide area.
While Omnibeam is used the player can not rotate the camera as Moira or Pharah do with their Ultimates, this skill is intended to clean an area, not to kill enemies.
Omnibeam is similar to Roadhog Whole Hog but longer range, with no damage falloff and no spread.
It is also similar to Hanzo Dragonstrike size, but its damage is too much lower.
